An astro-archeologist contacted me to help him obtain images of ancient places and how they line up or don’t line up with the sun. His objective was the Etowah Indian Mounds in Cartersville, GA. The goal was to line up the mound with how it sits on the earth and see where the sun came up on the Fall Equinox, September 22, 2020. Sunrise was lovely, but storms blew in and messed up my sunset shoot.

Aerial Imagery Shows off Entire Community for Homebuilders
The aerial perspective is becoming standard in real estate to sell homes, but it’s also becoming necessary for homebuilders to show off their communities. This is a great and cost effective way to show a whole community, feature your beautiful streetscapes, walk through amenities and add movement and a cinematic feel to your marketing and social media content. I work with homebuilders to showcase their communities and offer then either still/video raw footage or fully produced videos, depending on their needs.

We went to Murphy, NC for my husband’s and my birthdays in February. It’s only a short drive from Woodstock, GA and when we left, snow flurries started blowing around. I hoped for some snow and I guess God was listening because it was snowing a bit more when we arrived at the Stonebrook Lodge and we woke up to a thick powder coating; the kind of crunchy powder that is easy to drive in and makes everything look new with sparkles. It was gorgeous and I was inspired to get some drone footage.
